Once AGAIN.

Back to my makeup phase/addiction. I've been spoiling myself too much this month. I plan to order some new makeup brushes and the Urban Decay Naked Palette 2, call it good after that. (I hope).

Anyways, I've been totally in love with the Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation. So I guess I can post up a little review about it. (Pictures and swatches will come soon). I have purchased this product twice, the first time in the summer, returned and bought it once more during Black Friday. Both times purchasing it, I bought the color Bamboo Beige. I would have to say this is a pretty good match for me though it is a bit more on the peachy/tan side. When i first apply the foundation it looked SUPER white but it does oxidize to match me slightly better. When I do want a little heavier coverage and use a little more, it oxidizes and actually is wayyyy too dark for me, I have to use a small amount for the color to somewhat match me.

A little goes a long way, if too much is applied, it can be super cakey. I've tried applying this foundation many different ways. (Flat top kabuki, hands, sponge, flat paddle foundation brush). I would have to say it looks best when applied with my hands. The consistency is so thick that the heat from your hands help melt in the product and blend a little better. This is a creamy foundation, not liquid at all and provides pretty good coverage, definitely medium to heavy. The Color range is pretty nice, it is kinda pricey though. $42, but I did buy it on Black Friday for around $36. All in all, a pretty good foundation. Definitely not as good as my Nars Sheer Glow, but I still like it. (:
